THE STORY

The City of Medford purchased the dilapidated Palmer Building located in the heart of downtown in 2018. We replaced the roof, demoed the interior of the building, replaced all of the broken windows on the façade, added a full kitchen, new flooring, ADA compliant restrooms, and replaced the plumbing, electrical, and HVAC system to create The Palmer Place. The building is equipped with tables, chairs, and kitchen essentials needed for most occasions.

Once construction on the first floor of the building was finished, we demoed and redesigned the upstairs space to create a fully furnished loft overlooking downtown Medford that is now available for rent on Airbnb.

The building now provides event and loft space to the community and out-of-town guests. The City of Medford brought life back to this building and added more to downtown’s activity and momentum that we are trying to build.
